Mihoko Owada is the Digital Media and Photography Manager for the Catholic Standard and El Pregonero, the newspapers of the Archdiocese of Washington. Originally from Japan, she converted to the Catholic faith at the Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle in Washington, D.C. Her work spans photography, social media, multimedia storytelling, and digital communications. She has covered major Church events including Pope Francis's historic visit to Japan in 2019 and the Archdiocese of Washington's most significant moments in recent years. She is passionate about sharing the Good News and helping people encounter the beauty of the Catholic faith through images, stories, and digital media.
